{"id":1209,"date":"2023-04-10T12:08:01","date_gmt":"2023-04-10T09:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kilimahewamodern.sc.tz\/?page_id=1209"},"modified":"2023-04-10T12:08:03","modified_gmt":"2023-04-10T09:08:03","slug":"pre-form-five-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kilimahewamodern.sc.tz\/index.php\/pre-form-five-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Pre-Form Five Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;If a child can\u2019t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.&#8221; \u2013 Ignacio \u2018Nacho\u2019 Estrada&#8221;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Under Tanzania&#8217;s educational system, students who finish their Form 4 studies, will have to stay home for about 6 months (November &#8211; July) when they will join Advanced Level of Secondary Education (Form 5) or wait until late September to join colleges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With Six months out of school, these students need dedicated extra tutoring to help them stay on course. It is for this reason that KIWOCE runs the Pre-Form 5 program. Starting in April every year, this program teaches students the selected subjects and topics up to the time when their Form 5 schools open.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The program covers Science and Arts subjects, Computer &amp; Internet, and Life Skills Training.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Many students who have taken this course have found it useful as they were already way ahead of the class by the time they reported to their schools.
