Welcome to the Kilimahewa Modern Secondary School’s social events page! We are proud to offer a variety of social events for our students throughout the year, providing them with opportunities to celebrate, learn, and grow together.

Graduation Ceremonies: One of the highlights of the school year is our graduation ceremony. This is a special day where we honor and celebrate the achievements of our graduating students, and wish them well as they move on to the next chapter of their lives.

Study Tours & Picnics: We also organize study tours and picnics, which provide students with a fun and educational way to learn outside the classroom. These events help students to develop their social skills and build strong relationships with their peers.

Music, Dance & Talent Shows: Our school is home to some of the most talented students, and we love to showcase their skills in our music, dance, and talent shows. These events are a great way for students to express themselves creatively and build their confidence.

Mini Marathons: We also organize mini marathons, which promote physical fitness and healthy living among our students. These events provide a great opportunity for students to challenge themselves, and to work towards a common goal with their peers.

Events of Deaths Touching Students’ Families: We understand that the loss of a loved one can be a difficult time for students and their families. We provide support and assistance to our students during these times, and organize events to help them remember and honor their loved ones.

National & International Observances: We also participate in national and international observances, such as International Women’s Day, Day of the African Child, and many more. These events help to raise awareness and promote important social causes, while also celebrating diversity and multiculturalism.

Charity Activities: Our school community is committed to giving back, and we organize charity activities throughout the year to support local and national causes. We believe in the words of Mahatma Gandhi, who said, “It is health that is the real wealth, and not pieces of gold and silver.” By participating in charity activities, we can help to improve the health and well-being of those around us, and build a better world for everyone.

In most of these activities, students are going to ask their parents/guardians for financial support/contributions.

Thank you for visiting our social events page. We hope that our events provide students with opportunities to make lasting memories and build meaningful relationships with their peers. If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
